Olive oil - The secret of good health
It is now known across the world that
olive oil offers people essential health protection; whether we
have circulatory disorders; suffer from diabetes or other health
problems. It is indeed interesting to look at the different studies,
making it clearer to us how valuable olive oil is for the human
body.
Bad Cholesterol
The consumption of olive oil in place of other fats and oils lowers
the LDL cholesterol level in the blood without reducing the HDL,
i.e. "good" cholesterol level!
High Blood Pressure
Olive oil lowers blood pressure, which means it helps to prevent
strokes and other circulatory disorders.
Osteoporosis
Olive oil also plays an important role for bones and protects against
osteoporosis.
Diabetes
Even in the therapy of diabetes, olive oil plays a positive role.

Triglycerine
It is proven that olive oil lows the triglycerine level in the blood.
Too high "bad" cholesterol and triglycerine values in the blood
lead to clogged arteries, with the consequence of a reduced oxygen intake
to the heart muscles and to the brain. It is generally recognised that
olive oil protects the body from circulatory disorders.
Cancer
The latest studies have shown that the consumption of olive oil has an
especially significant part to play in preventing breast cancer or it
can at least decelerate its development. A balanced diet with olive oil
and vegetables can reduce the probability of breast cancer (and certainly
other cancers) up to 75%.
Digestive Tract
The study also show that olive oil, in conjunction with a balanced diet
(vegetables, little meat etc.), protects against stomach cancer, guarantees
good function of the liver and supports the liver in decomposing poisonous
substances.
